FIFTH AVENUE FOUNDATION

Welcome to Arts Fifth Avenue in Fort Worth, TX ...where the arts are alive, waiting for you to discover, experience, and express at our eclectic neighborhood arts center. We offer professional performances and festivals featuring drama, music, visual arts, dance, film and more, in every style, from every era, from around the neighborhood and around the world.

Located at the corner of 5th Avenue and West Allen Avenue in the Fairmount Southside Historic District of Fort Worth, we invite you to enjoy a variety of classes in the performing and visual arts. We also provide meeting, rehearsal, and event space for gatherings large and small.

Arts Fifth Avenue was incorporated and received its 501c3 designation in 1992. Our mission is to stimulate, develop and preserve interest in tap dance and other complementary art forms and to educate the general public, particularly youth, about this uniquely American dance form; and to provide a forum of expression for dancers, choreographers, musicians, composers, and visual and performing artists.

Under the umbrella of ARTS FIFTH AVENUE is the 5th Avenue Jazz Collective, a group of like minded jazz musicians creating original jazz compositions;  LaFeet Tap Ensemble & HardSoles, our adult and youth tap companies who share their love and performance of Tap, the only American Dance form with the community;  and the 5th Avenue Hi-Notes, a vocal chorus who sing for the sheer joy of singing and will sing for any occasion.
